BonnetsAll christening gowns come with a matching bonnet, so if you're ordering a gown you needn't think you will be charged for one. But perhaps you'd like one for each child. The bonnet you get looks similar to this in style, either made of linen or cotton batiste, with or without lace:
The two above are made of Irish handkerchief linen, embroidered (with the shamrock wreath or halo, dragon, or whatever you like that will fit.) Below is Swiss batiste. YOU choose the embroidery.
The back, or crown, is in a "horseshoe" shape, which leaves room for embroidery if you like. (This tends to get a bit stiff, but then Baby won't be wearing it very long.) The bonnet above is made of Swiss cotton batiste, has narrow, all cotton French lace on the edges, and is embroidered on the back with whatever motif you choose.
If you wish to order just a bonnet, your cost is $20 for either of the above bonnets. This price includes shipping anywhere in the U.S.
The bonnet shown below has Venice lace tacked to it,
along with pearls and Swarovski crystals,
A T-bonnet is available, all lace and embroidery, for $60.00. The embroidery is all hand-done, so this takes time! Plus the rest of the bonnet is all lace and ribbons.
This bonnet comes with the All My Children gown. Separately, your cost is $60.00 IT is made of cotton batiste, French laces and appliquéd lace motifs on the sides with beading on the front, holding the ribbon ties. Embroidery on the back is included.
When ordering a gown with special additions I will do my best to incorporate any styles you choose on your bonnet, too! So if you happen to adore pintucks on the bodice and skirt, I'll put them across the bonnet. Or puffing, or whatever. :) Please call to order 440-474-4009 Shipped free anywhere in the US via Priority mail. Email with questions: judy@white-works.com
