Celtic Diamonds christening gownThis christening gown is made of Ulster linen.
It is three and a half feet long, unlike the other Celtic christening gowns
(which are 3 feet long), and
the focal point of this gown is the panel of diamonds down the front,
marked in lace and filled with embroidered Celtic motifs. $285.00
Shown are a selection of Celtic designs, but you may, of course, choose any other motifs to suit you. These were sewn with white thread on the white linen. The bodice of this gown has a V-shaped lace design with the knot cross embroidered in the center.
The same V-shaping in lace is on each sleeve and on the bonnet to tie the whole outfit together beautifully! A wider French lace finishes the hem of the skirt, the face of the bonnet and the hem of the sleeves. Sleeves can be the straight shirt sleeve style or slightly puffy with ribbons as shown...or finished in cuffs, your choice. This christening gown ties in back with double-faced satin ribbon to accommodate many baby sizes for the future!
An elegant family heirloom. This gown and bonnet set is $285.00 Call to order 440-474-4009 Here is a rough sketch of the diamonds. I've numbered them if you'd like to choose which designs you'd like and where. There are 7 possible. #1 is the most prominent design location.
(Victorian vase available from Roses and Rust.) This can also be made of silk dupioni. Extra charge applies. ($335.00) Sale does not apply to silk gowns. Perhaps you would like a slip to go beneath the sheer linen.($45.00) Time in Rome, Ohio (Eastern Time zone) is:
