The Criswell Gown

$385.00

This gown is made of lovely imported, Swiss cotton batiste and French lace.

The decorative panel in the front is held to the skirt with beading on both sides, threaded with ribbon.

The panel has lace insertions, machine embroidery, and lots of free-standing lace motifs from the Criswell Embroidery Co.  Every panel is different, to suit your desires.  If you prefer hearts and crosses, great!  Love butterflies but not hearts?  No problem.  Doves?  Roses?  Puppies?  We'll get them.

A 5" lace-edged ruffle completes the hem, and there is a matching motif on the bodice.

A bonnet with matching laces and motifs comes with this gown.

A full 2 weeks is usually needed to make this gown and bonnet set so please order early!
Embroidery takes time!

The Criswell gown is a full four feet long.

The Criswell gown shown above was embroidered with family crests down the front with a minimal amount of lace and trims.  Very elegant and personal.  Shown with long puffy sleeves.  The sleeves draw up with ribbon ties but the ribbon can be removed for a "bell sleeve" shown below:

 

Or you may prefer puffy sleeves ending in a cuff:

Choose any sleeve treatment.  There is no extra charge.  (The bodice shown above is on the Robert gown.)

Bassinette cover also available made of Swiss cotton batiste.  Many colors available, white, off-white, pale blue, pale pink, pale yellow or pale green.  $485.00   Please allow 2 weeks at least.  Is 25" long from top of bassinette, 12" deep, mattress cover fits 29" X 14", or whatever size your mattress!  Just measure and let me know.  I make them to order...call or email with questions or to order.
