Baptismal Cloth or handkerchief.

 

A lovely memento for you, the Godparents, absent grandparents, or use as a baptismal apron/bib or a favor for your guests at the after-the-christening tea.

This is made of Irish handkerchief linen, approximately 12 inches square then edged in French lace.

Baby's name can be embroidered in the center, and an additional motif can be added if you like.

Little Colin's is shown with a Criswell Jeweled cross in the center.  You may choose any motif you like and the words are up to you, too.

This can be made into a hanky bonnet but there is a caveat: the embroidery needs to be put on the wrong side of the hanky.  The top of it comes down, the bottom folds up and you see the lace, preferably not the wrong side, and it frames the embroidery...so the hanky looks wrong, but the bonnet looks right.  :0
