Logic Puzzle One It has been a busy week at Whiteworks! Five ladies have ordered christening gowns and each placed their order on a different day last week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Each new mom ordered a different gown, and since Whiteworks offers custom gowns, each ordered a different twist on the original design. Names: Molly, Jessica, Sandra, Kelly, Velda Surnames: Smith, Jones, Kellogg, Mellon, Voight Days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Gowns: The "Robert", "The Celtic", "The Confection", "The Kyle", "The Miranda" Design twist: No embroidery, All color embroidery, Extra long ruffle, No lace, Added pearls
Your Clues: 1. No one’s first and last initials are the same. 2. Jessica, who did not order on Tuesday, ordered "The Robert" sometime before Velda, who ordered her gown the day before Mrs. Voight. 3. Mrs. Jones ordered "The Celtic" gown the day after Mrs. Smith and the day before the gown that had no embroidery. Mrs. Voight left for vacation on Friday, so made it a point to order before then. 4. Mrs. Mellon loved the pearls and requested a lot of them all over the bodice. She did not order "The Miranda". Molly did not order a gown on Thursday. Mrs. Mellon did not order on Wednesday. 5. Velda Kellogg placed her order two days after Mrs. Smith and two days before the gown ordered by Kelly. Sandra, who is not Mrs. Jones, loved the green shamrocks and purple thistles motifs, so ordered them that way. 6. The order placed on Tuesday specified no lace.
" The Confection" was ordered before "The
Miranda" gown. Only one woman ordered a gown whose initial was
the same as one of her names. 7. The last order placed was for "The Kyle" gown, but not by Molly.
