Robert christening gown $95.00The Robert, a plain and simple christening gown, no lace, made of imported Swiss cotton batiste, embroidered with your choice of motifs on the chest, back of bonnet, and the center bottom of the skirt. Edges are hemmed with a small scallop stitch as seen below on the sleeves and hem.
Our very plain, simple, and elegant gown. Robert is approximately 36" long and has a circumference of 80" at the hem. The cost of $95 includes an embroidered motif on the bodice (this one has the Celtic knot cross and shamrocks on it), and you may also have the front of the skirt embroidered: Say a matching cross with Baby's name, birth date and christening date under it? This works beautifully, and there will be plenty of room for the next baby's name and dates when he/she wears it! If you would like more embroidery going around the hem as shown below, there is an additional charge of $65.00 for a total of $160.00.
It is also a wonderful gown for those of you who wish to do your own hand or machine embroidery! This gown shows the Celtic knot cross #2 on the chest with white trinity knots around the hem and a pastel knotted thistle in front. Also available is an off-white fabric with matching thread. No extra charge, just a variation. Sleeves that are puffy and come to a cuff are a free option if you want something a little more showy than the short shirt sleeve:
You may have lace added to the bonnet and to the bottom of puffy sleeves, which are drawn up with a ribbon, as shown here. There would be an extra charge of $25 for lace going around the hem.
