Sizing Chart

I'm sure we both want to be talking about the same thing so here's my size chart.

(Manufacturers don't share their patterns, so telling me your little one wears a 0-6 months size doesn't help me at all...I have a 0, a 3 month and a 6 month.  :)    Everyone sizes their clothes differently it seems.)

Sizing guide for you.
Extra small For preemies and newborns from 6 to 8 pounds
Small From 8 to 12 pounds  About a 3 month size  Chest size 14"
Medium 12 to 16 pounds   This is the 6 month size  Chest measures about 16"
Large 16 to 22 pounds     This is the 9 month size   Chest is 21"
Extra large Over 22 pounds    If you need a larger size, do let me know!

A tape measure is a wonderful thing...a chest size may be all I need.  If you're purchasing a gown for a toddler and you need a short gown so she doesn't trip I would appreciate a shoulder-to-ankle measurement, and I'll do my best to make your gown the right length.  Of course, if you don't mind holding the little one, by all means get the traditional long length of 36 inches or so.
