KNITTED COMFY SLIPPERS pattern

click here for easy to print version

Sized for adult feet, up to women's size 11.

Find 4 skeins of yarn, mix or match. Find size 13 needles.

Using 4 strands of yarn as one, cast on 30 stitches.

Rows 1 - 13: Knit all stitches.

Rows 14 and 15: Bind off 5 stitches, Knit to end.

Rows 16 and 17: Bind off 1 stitch, Knit to end.

Rows 18 - 25: Knit all stitches.

Row 26: Knit 5, K2tog, Knit 4, K2tog, Knit 5.

Rows 27 - 32: Knit all stitches.

Row 33: K2tog across.

Row 34: Bind off all stitches.

This is the toe area.

Fold slipper in half, bringing the back seam (your cast on stitches) together.

Starting at top: Slip stitch top of foot and up the front of leg.

Slip stitch back of slipper together. (The cast on stitches.)

Work in all ends of yarn.

(You may want to make a second one….J )

 

Now, if you need TINY booties, you can use baby yarn, one strand, on size 3 knitting needles.  They're precious, and make cute decorations, too.
