Should you ever need a stoma cover, or dickie, here's some simple instructions for making your own.

You'll need:
soft hook and loop tape
breathable fabric in your choice of color
and matching ribbing for the neck band
(Obviously you'll want a sewing machine, needle, thread, scissors, etc...)

I cut fabric 10" X 11 1/2" for each cover.

Hem no more than a half inch on both long sides and one of the short sides.
Cut your ribbing 3" X 14"
Of course you can adjust this later to fit yourself or whoever.

Fold the ribbing in half lengthwise, mark the center with a pin, and pin to
the short unhemmed side.

Begin sewing with a small zig zag on the folded corner of the ribbing
and move around the corner, include the fabric, and continue to
the other corner, closing the ribbing.

Cut a 1" piece of the hook and loop tape, sew in place.

Try on the cover for placement of tape and there you are.

You can make it quite fancy with embroidery or added lace, etc.

But this is a basic design to get you going.

All the best to you.  :)
